November Exhibition at FMAAA Art Center

The FMAAA Art Center welcomed Jane Elizabeth Shank with her exibition A Season of Study to the Main Gallery for November.

Jane Elizabeth’s exhibition dove into the processes of a plein air painter, from studies painted in situ then taken back to the studio and used as the inspiration for other more developed pieces. These second and third pieces involve the artist leaning into certain aspects of the original, extrapolating the visuals to enhance the impact. Or, definitively editing to reveal the importance of the scene. The FMAAA Art Center thanks Greene Acres Art for the sponsorship of this month’s exhibition.
